Dave Ransom founded Ransom Group in 1998. Under his leadership, the organization has grown to become one of the country’s leading search firms, specializing in the recruitment of senior executives.
He is the driving force behind the firm’s mission to unite people with opportunity to unlock potential. Dave provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the firm, guiding the company’s vision, culture, and commitment to exceptional client service.
In addition to his role as CEO, Dave has led hundreds of high-profile C-Suite searches and advises boards and CEOs across multiple industries. Throughout his career, he has built an extensive personal network with executive leaders and has been intentional about developing meaningful relationships.
Dave is a strong advocate for “giving back” and allocates significant time outside the firm in his role as Co-Chairman of Kindway, a non-profit that invests in the lives of those who have been impacted by incarceration.
Prior to founding the Ransom Group, Dave was a Partner in a national search firm where he was recognized as one of the company’s top consultants. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University.
